Notepal U Stand Overview
First and foremost the Notepal U Stand is of course a stand. The stand itself has an almost all aluminum design with many ventilation holes that will help with cooling, even without any fans. The stand has the dimensions of 410 x 310mm and supports laptops up to 17-inches.
If you open the stand up you will see 4 grooves on the back, which will give you 5 different height settings. This is perfect to give you a choice if say you are doing simple tasks or you are gaming. The arm easily snaps in to place and locks on each setting.
If you have the Notepal U Stand on the highest setting you may have an issue with your laptop moving around or possibly even falling. Cooler Master knew that and installed 2 anti-slip holders that fold out on the bottom of the stand. These have a rubber base that will keep your laptop in place as well as protecting it from getting scratched up.
On the right side of the Notepal U Stand are the controls as well as a 3-port USB hub. The addition of the USB hub is nice, we all know how many laptops have only a few USB ports. The Notepal U Stand comes with 2 100mm silent fans.
The bottom of the Notepal U Stand has anti-slip rubber feet as well. So you don’t have to worry about the stand moving around at all while in operation.
