CM Storm Octane Gaming Gear Combo Review

The Mouse
The mouse that comes with the Octane kit is known as the “MS35”. It is made to be an all-around mouse and I would say it is an average size, not too skinny and not too fat either. You will notice two LED strips that actually look like eyes towards the middle of the mouse, these will light up when the mouse turns on.

When looking at the top of the mouse you can see the scroll wheel has a rubber pattern grip which makes scrolling pretty easy. There are also DPI up and down buttons right under the scroll wheel. Of course you have your right and left mouse buttons, CM Storm says these have a 10 million click life cycle.

On the left side of the mouse you will have your forward and back buttons, you can also see the Octane name printed on the side of the left click. The right side of the mouse has a nice rubber grip which helps you keep a good grip on the mouse.
