CM Storm Havoc Gaming Mouse Review

Most people know Cooler Master’s gaming brand CM Storm and their long line of cases, keyboards, headphones, mice, and other peripherals. What seems to be missing is a high performance medium-sized mouse. Well not anymore. Cooler Master sent us their new medium-sized CM Storm Havoc 8200 DPI Laser Gaming Mouse with an Avago 9800 Laser sensor and Omron micro switches. We put it through our test so let’s see how it performs.

CM Storm Havoc comes in a Full color box. The front of the box has a full color picture of the CM Storm Havoc with only some information about the DPI settings. Turning to the back of the box we have some more information about the CM Storm Havoc. They give you the information on the sensor which is a Avago 9800 Laser Sensor with 100-8200 DPI range. Also that the mouse makes use of Japanese Omron Micro Switches which last up to 5 million button clicks, 8 Programmable Buttons, and also that the CM Storm Havoc has built int 128k onboard memory.

Upon opening the top of the box you will have the wrist cutout on the bottom of the box for you to see if the CM Storm Havoc is a good fit for your hand and grip style. On the inside of the flap on the box you will have some detailed pictures which state some more info about the CM Storm Havoc and its features.
