CES Unveiled 2013

CES Unveiled is the first offical press event of CES and the probably the busiest press event as well. For that reason we normally do not cover the event, but this year we decided to attend. We only talked to a handful of companies, but most of the companies products have won CES Innovations Awards. Read on to see what CES Unveiled 2013 was all about!

Yurbuds
There is a fine line between function and style when is comes to earphones. Sylish earphones typically don’t have good sound and lack placement security. Functional earphones lack style and also don’t typically have good sound quality. Yurbuds decided to knock the wall down between these two traits and make a product that features both security and style without skimping on sound quality. Yurbuds redefine what we’ve always known sport earphones to be while also making us consider factors that we’ve never considered before.

GX Gaming
Everyday it seems a new company is taking the steps towards the ever growing realm of video-gaming peripherals. This fine day we get to take a look at the new GX Gaming line of products from Genius. We’ve known them in the past to produce some of the finer speaker options on the market but at CES Unveiled 2013 they were showcasing a new gaming mouse and gaming keyboard that looks like it could be a potential threat to the other competitors. Genius pulls out all the stops so take a look at the video to find out more.

Liquid Image
Go Pro, watch out, there is another player in the game and they look to be the real deal. Liquid Image took the opportunity to showcase a product that could make the the Hero Cam look like a wimp. The Apex HD+ Goggle Camera is a product that truly incorporates 2 products into one. Taking ‘standard’ sport goggles and combining a 1080p video camera into the bridge of the lense you have one of the most interesting visual concepts an exteme sports athlete would desire. In an ever growing market of high stabilization HD camcorders few have made a dent in the battleship known as the USS Go Pro. Will Liquid Image be the company that finally makes a big enough wave? Check out the video for more details.
