CES 2011: Cooler Master

Choiix
The Choiix brand has been one of my favorite offerings from Cooler Master, probably because I like little gadgets.  The first product we were shown from the Choiix line was the Boom Boom 3D speaker.  This is an update to the Boom Boom Slim travel speaker we reviewed a little while ago.  This speaker is of course larger as it features 3D tech for better sound.  There is a definite difference when 3D mode is enabled.  The next product is also a speaker system, but also a charger.  It is the Power Fort Go Music.  It is a small speaker system, that also works as a Power Fort charging system, so you can play music while charging your device.  Expect to see this in Q2 for around $70-80.

Choiix has updated their Power Fort line with a smaller version.  The larger version, which we reviewed gives you 10Whrs, this smaller version gives you 5.5Whrs.  The smaller version also comes in both white a black.  2 other really cool additions to the Power Fort line are the charging sticks.  There are 2 different versions, one that uses AAA batteries and one that uses AA batteries.  So you can connect your USB device to these to charge them when an outlet is not available.  Expect to see these early in Q2.

Choiix also has new products specifically made for the iPod and iPhone.  The first product is the iPower Fort.  It is a rechargeable battery pack that has a removable top where you can plug in your iPhone or iPod.  It can be recharged via USB, which makes it easy.

The other 2 products are made specifically for the iPhone 4.  They are battery pack cases.  After handling these cases I can definitely tell they are not cheap.  So what is the difference between the cases?  One is solar and one is not.  They both can be charged via USB, the one solar function on the one gives you an extra charging option when power is not available.
