Power Supplies
On the power supply side of things Cooler Master has announced their GX line. This line features 3 models right now a 550W, 650W and a 750W. Each power supply features a dedicated 12V rail, double layer EMI filer to help reduce noise and improve safety, a 120mm fan, active PFC plus PWM combo controller, 80PLUS certification, and a 5 year warranty. The 750W should sell for $119 and the 650W should sell for under $100.
On the laptop power side of things Cooler Master has just announced the USNA 95 laptop adapter. This adapter is the slimmest 95W adapter available. After taking a look at it, it sure is small! Not only will this adapter charge your laptop it also features a USB port for charging other devices.
Choiix Products
Cooler Master’s Choiix brand is made for mainstream consumers who are looking for really cool accessories for their notebooks. The first Choiix product that we were shown was the Flat Speaker. It connects via USB and is perfect for laptops that do not have good speakers. The sound quality was sure a lot better than the Acer netbook they were using to demo it. Another cool laptop cooler from Choiix is called the AirStash and it features a 2.5-inch hard drive dock on it.
