Logitech MX Sound 2.0 Computer Speakers Review

Logitech has been making speakers for computers for a very long time. I've owned a handful of sets over the years and have always been satisfied with their performance. Logitech recently sent us over their MX Sound 2.0 Computer Speakers, which are part of the company’s premium computer accessory line which the Craft Wireless Keyboard we recently reviewed is also part of. As the name states this is a 2.0 sound system, so you have two very stylish circular speakers with advanced drivers delivering 24 watts of peak power (12 watt RMS). On top of being able to connect these to your PC these are also Bluetooth speakers so you can easily connect a mobile device or tablet. Let's take these speakers for a test drive and see what they can do!

Fabriq Riff Smart Speaker Review

Small Bluetooth speakers are nothing new, we've seen them for years, but smart speakers are something that is new and getting extremely popular. They connect via WiFi and allow you to control the speaker over your WiFi network rather than Bluetooth. This gives you extended range, the ability to still be able to take calls on your phone, and much more. Today we are checking out a small attractive speaker called the Fabriq Riff. You can see where it gets it name from with its cool fabric cover, but beyond looks this speaker works with Amazon Alexa and sounds much better than the Echo dot make it a perfect portable alternative. Let's jump in and see what it is all about.

TUNAI CLIP Review

TUNAI Creative is a new company here for us at ThinkComputers. Looking at their product lineup they currently offer two products, the CLIP, which we are taking a look at today and the Firefly. Both are Bluetooth audio products. The clip is an interesting product as its main function is to bring wireless connectivity to your favorite set of wired headphones. It also gives you a voice assistant, microphone for taking calls, and has a range of 250 feet in the open air. CLIP comes along at an interesting time where many mobile devices are dropping support of the 3.5 mm jack. If you have a favorite pair of headphones that are wired this could be the perfect thing for you! Read on as we take a look...

Autonomous SmartDesk 2 Review

Back in 2012 I was sick of sitting down all day and decided to build myself my own standing desk. While it worked pretty well it was not exactly high enough, and I could not adjust it up or down. This eventually led me to get a tall stool which I ended up sitting on more often than actually standing. So when Autonomous asked me if I wanted to check out their Smart Desk 2 I was quite excited. Autonomous says the Smart Desk 2 is the most affordable high-quality standing desk, period. Prices start at a very modest $299 for the base model and go up from there. Can the Smart Desk 2 become my new favorite desk or will I go back to the one I was using? Read on as we find out!

Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger Gaming Headset Review

Kingston's high-end and gaming brand HyperX has been going quite strong for the past few years. Many of you know probably know the HyperX name from Kingston's HyperX memory and HyperX solid state drives, but the HyperX brand also makes great gaming headsets. Their Cloud II Gaming Headset was one of the best gaming headsets I've ever reviewed and I still use it to this day. Today they are announcing a more lightweight gaming headset that works not only on PC, but Xbox, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Mobile, and more! The headset is the HyperX Cloud Stinger, which is only 275 grams, has 50 mm directional drivers, Kingston's HyperX memory foam earcups, swivel-to-mute noise-cancellation microphone, and much more! Let's take a look and see what it is all about!

Intel Compute Stick (2nd Generation) Review

Back in early 2015 at CES Intel showed us a really cool device that they were really excited about. It was their Compute Stick, which was an entire PC in the form factor of an HDMI stick. It is pretty awesome that with this device you can turn any HDMI display into a computer! The tagline of “Connect. Compute. It’s that simple.” really fits the Compute Stick perfectly. Intel released the first version of the Compute Stick in 2015 and now it is on its second generation. The second generation makes improvements over the first generation product, inside you have an Intel Atom x5-Z8300 processor (Cherry Trail), 2GB of DDR3L memory, and 32GB of onboard storage. Intel has also added a second USB port (compared to the single port on the 1st generation) and has improved wireless connectivity with 802.11ac wireless and Bluetooth 4.2 with a 2x2 antenna. Let’s take the 2nd generation Intel Compute Stick for a spin and see what it can really do!
