Tesoro GRAM XS Mechanical Keyboard Review

Mechanical key switches have really evolved over the past 4 to 5 years. We only had a few switches to choose from and now we have quite a lot. The new trend you are going to see this year is thinner and low-profile mechanical switches and keyboards. Today we are actually checking out our second low-profile mechanical keyboard, which is the Tesoro GRAM XS. This keyboard features ultra low profile key switches with a chicklet style keycap. Being big fans of white keyboards Tesoro sent us the white version that features a white chassis with white keycaps.

Bloody B930 Light Strike Optical Gaming Keyboard Review

Back at CES 2018, the ThinkComputers crew met up with the team from Bloody to check out their latest offerings aimed at the gaming community. While getting the rundown on all of their latest products, we were shown a few new keyboards that feature Bloody's Light Strike (LK) Libra technology, which uses optical detection as opposed to mechanical connections to register key presses. One of those keyboards is the B930, a ten-keyless model that includes RGB lighting, liquid spill resistance, and a sturdy metal body. We have seen many other keyboards that use non-Cherry mechanical switches, but we have yet to take a look at an optical switch keyboard that still retains the mechanical switch feel. That all changes today with our review of the Bloody B930.

HAVIT HV-KB395L Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Review

Back in October of 2017, we looked at a mechanical gaming keyboard from a company that we hadn't really heard of before, HAVIT. Now we are in the spring of 2018 and have in our possession another mechanical keyboard from HAVIT, this time with a bit of a twist. The HV-KB395L is a low-profile mechanical keyboard that utilizes Kalih PG1350 low-profile Blue switches, resulting in a height of just 22.5mm. Add in some RGB lighting and we think the HV-KB395L might just be a winner. Let's see if our initial observations turn out to be accurate.

Tesoro Gram SE Spectrum Gaming Keyboard Review

About a year and a half about we took a look at Tesoro's Gram Spectrum mechanical gaming keyboard. This keyboard was extremely solid, offered mechanical key switches, and a slim keycap design. The new Gram SE Spectrum from Tesoro features Tesoro's new optical switches, the same ones we saw on the Excalibur SE Spectrum. These switches use infra-red technology, which is twice as fast as traditional mechanical switches and offers advanced dust and spill resistance. Also since these switches do not have metal components, like traditional mechanical switches, there is no regular wear and tear from constant contact, which allows for a longer switch lifespan. Are you looking for a faster response than your mechanical keyboard to enhance your gaming skills? The Tesoro Gram SE Spectrum might be for you! Let's take a look...

HyperX Cloud Alpha Gaming Headset Review

Back in 2014 HyperX released their original Cloud Headset. It was a headset that offered incredible performance at a great price, at the time it was the undisputed best gaming headset under $100. Then in 2015 the HyperX Cloud II came out, again we were blown away. I have been using that headset as my main headset since reviewing it. So when HyperX told us they have a successor to the Cloud II I knew it had big shoes to fill. On top of great sound performance the Cloud headsets were some of the most comfortable out there. So today we are checking out the new Cloud Alpha, which has a similar design to the Cloud II, but brings with it a new dual chamber driver design. The dual chambers separate the bass from the mids and highs, allowing optimal tuning for cleaner, smoother sound. Let's take a look a see if this headset will become our new gaming headset!

Nitro Concepts S300 Gaming Chair Review

Every since being introduced to my first gaming chair earlier this year I feel that it is a necessity every serious gamer, or person who plans on sitting in front of computer screen for a long period of time should invest in. We spend quite a lot of money on the components inside of our PCs, but we really should also think about what is outside and what we are sitting on for very long periods of time. Today we will be checking out the S300 gaming chair from Nitro Concepts, they tell us it the best chair they've ever built. Let's take it for a spin and see how it compares to the other gaming chair's we've reviewed over the past year.
