While most of the keyboard is 0.49 mm it is not that thickness throughout. It has a thicker portion on its end that holds the battery, electronics, and a Bluetooth low-energy transceiver. It supports Bluetooth Smart which lets you pair it with any Bluetooth enabled smartphone, tablet or PC. Cambridge Silicon Radio is using its newest CSR1010 SoC to run the keyboard which offers latencies as low as 12 ms. The keyboard was unveiled at IFA Berlin 2013, but the company has not announced any retail plans.
