Braven Ready Solo Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker Review

Final Thoughts
So is this the ultimate Bluetooth speaker for the summer? I actually think it is, for a few different reasons actually. First off and probably the most important is that it is IP68 water and dust proof. This means that the speaker can survive in one meter of water for up to 30 minutes. So you don’t have to worry about getting the speaker wet or say having it on the beach with all of the sand. Even better the speaker floats! While this speaker is not really made to be a floating speaker the fact that it floats ensures that it won’t go to the bottom of the lake or ocean if it falls.

Next up for reasons I think this is the ultimate Bluetooth speaker for summer is that it is repetitively small, but packs in a really good sound. In the summer you might have a backpack with you and that is about it. You are not going to be lugging around a large over-sized speaker. The Ready Solo is the perfect size to throw in a backpack or beach tote. The sound that the Ready Solo produces is great and more than powerful enough for sitting at the pool, beach, and even inside in most room sizes.

Finally we have price. The Ready Solo is $99 at our favorite online retailer. I think for most consumers they are not going to spend much over $99 for a Bluetooth speaker. Also based on all of the features and sound the $99 price is justified.

Some other features that the Ready Solo does have is that you can actually pair two together for left and right sound. The speaker also has a USB power port so if you have the speaker with you you can charge your other devices.

The only real thing I can say I don’t like about this speaker is the real lack of information on the actual internals. This is something that is not listed on the Braven website and I think Braven could do a better job on their product pages.

All things considered I think that Braven has a really great speaker in the Ready Solo and it is one that you’ll definitely want to have with you this summer. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Braven Ready Solo Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker a 9 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award!
