BitFenix Shows the Prodigy M Micro-ATX Case

BitFenix’s Prodigy mini-ITX case is probably the most popular mini-ITX case out there. It not only has a sleek design it allows for longer graphics cards and other larger components. Mini-ITX limits you to a single graphics card so BitFenix went back and redesigned the Prodigy to support larger motherboards in the Micro-ATX form factor. At Computex they were showing off this case called the Prodigy M.

Whats pretty impressive is that on the outside the case does not look much different from the mini-ITX version, they are pretty much the same size! Inside though things are much different. The motherboard now sits vertically on the left side panel. The power supply has been moved to the front of the case and there is an extender cable that runs to the back of the case so you can have all of your connections on the back.

Inside there has been improved cooling. You now have dual 120mm fans on the top of the case and a larger 200/230mm fan on the bottom of the case. A 240mm radiator can fit on the top of the case as well! You have room inside for a 5.25-inch drive, three 3.5-inch drives and three 3.5-inch drives.

The right side panel of the case has your power and reset button, two USB 3.0 ports and audio connections.
