be quiet! Unveils Dark Rock TF and Shadow Rock LP CPU Coolers

be quiet! was showing off two brand new CPU coolers at CES 2015. These coolers are the Dark Rock TF (Top Flow) and Shadow Rock LP. As expected these coolers can handle pretty much any processor out there and of course have the quality we expect from be quiet!

The first cooler is the larger Dark Rock TF or Top Flow. So as you can guess this cooler is designed to be a top flow cooler. This is not your wimpy top flow cooler either, it can handle thermal loads up to 220W! The cooler is made up of two dark nickel-plated heatsinks with a pair of 135 mm be quiet! Silent Wings fans. The smaller heatsink sits at the bottom and the larger heatsink sits at the top of the cooler.

There are six 6 mm heatpipes that come up from the base of the cooler. Four actually go up into the smaller heatsink on the cooler, while all six will come up into the larger heatsink on the top of the cooler. The Dark Rock TF is expected to be out around march and will have a MSRP of $79.

The second cooler that be quiet! was showing off was the Shadow Rock LP. The LP in the name stands for low profile so as you can guess this cooler is made for smaller and more compact PC systems. The cooler features a single 120 mm be quiet! Pure Wings fan and actually has the dual heatsink design much like the Dark Rock TF.

There are four large copper heatpipes that come up from the base and go into the two heatsinks. The Shadow Rock LP can handle thermal loads up to 130W. be quiet! is also hoping to get the Shadow Rock LP out in March and it is expected to be $39.
