To all of the Battlefield 3 gamers out there and fans of the franchise it looks like we are getting closer to a Battlefield 4 release. Electronic Arts has sent out press invitations for a Battlefield 4 press event scheduled for March 26, 2013. The invitation says the event will “celebrate a new era of Battlefield”. This event will take place during the 2013 Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco.
The leaked image that you see above hints to the fact that Battlefield 4 will have a modern day or at least near future setting. Although we cannot confirm that this is a true promotional image or not.
Last July EA announced Battlefield 4 and that a beta fir the game will launch during the fall of 2013. Those who have purchased Medal of Honor: Warfighter are guaranteed access to the beta.
