AVADirect BattleBox Ultimate X370 Gaming System Review

Final Thoughts
When we told AVADirect we wanted something more powerful than the Affinity HTPC System we reviewed earlier this year, they told us they had the perfect system for us and they were not joking! The BattleBox Ultimate X370 Gaming has a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, AMD Ryzen 7 1700X, 16GB of DDR4, and a very fast PCIe M.2 solid state drive inside! I think that anyone would appreciate those components inside of their system. These components are high-end components that you are going to find in many custom-build PCs. On top of that AVADirect has some extras you can add to your system like RGB lighting and even individually sleeved cables, which our system came with.

AVADirect’s website makes it really easy to configure your system and pick the parts that you want. You have the ability to even add a display, printer, gaming peripherals and more to your order. They really are a 1-stop shop and the process could not be easier. I did ask them why the EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FE was the only graphics card available for the system and they told me it was because of allocation. We know the availability of GPUs are very scarce because of mining, but they did tell us that when more GPUs are available they will reactivate in the customize section.

When it comes to performance this system is rock solid, whether your are doing CPU-specific tasks or gaming. For those wondering about gaming performance this game will be able to play pretty much anything out there at 4K resolution at the highest settings. As you can see in our game testing on the previous page all of our games were well over 60FPS in 4K! With that type of performance this system is definitely ready for the next generation of games and will last you a very long time.

There really is not much to not like about this system. AVADirect does have pretty much everything covered with this system, but there was one small thing I did noticed. With the Corsair H110i V2 AiO liquid cooling system the USB connection was not installed. While this is not a big deal, and AVADirect did include the USB cable in the accessory box, we did download Corsair Link only to realize we couldn’t adjust the H100i V2 settings without installing the cable ourselves.

Our system from AVADirect will set you back $2479 and prices for the BattleBox Ultimate X370 start at $2149. If you are not an AMD fan or want a different configuration AVADirect offers the BattleBox in Intel X299, Z270, and H270 configurations as well as AMD X399 and B350. You also have piece of mind when getting a system from AVADirect as this system comes with a 3-year parts and labor warranty as well as lifetime technical support.

At the end of the day this is a great system and one any gamer or enthusiast would love to have. Overall ThinkComputers gives the AVADirect BattleBox Ultimate X370 Gaming System a 9 out of 10 score.
