About 10 years of computer experience. Been messing around with electronics since I was 5, got into computers when I was in highschool, been modding them ever since then. Very interested in how things work and their design.

CES 2009: Shuttle

Using a computer for home entertainment keep on getting more popular and Shuttle has a great system for your home entertainment needs, the D4500. The thing that really sets this system off is the 7-inch touch screen LCD on the front of it. This allows you to scroll through movies, check e-mail, and do other activities without disrupting the media that is playing on the TV or large LCD you have this system connected to. The system on display featured an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of DDR2, 80GB hard drive, Blu-ray drive, Intel GMA X4500HD graphics, 7.1 channel HD audio, and a 250W power supply.

CES 2009: Moneual Labs

Moneual Labs has been coming on strong over the past year releasing cases and full systems. They really have some unique case designs. This year at CES following suit with many companies Moneual was showing many all-in-one solutions and a few cases. One of Moneual's HTPC's actually won a CES innovations award so we will have to check that out too!

iBUYPOWER is another new company we met with this year at CES. They make custom PC's for all applications. What sets them apart from other companies that do the same thing is that they offer a 30-day no question money back guarantee, all systems pass a 72-hour burn-in test, and they offer lifetime toll free tech support. They were nice enough to invite us up to their suite to check out all of their new systems they will be releasing in 2009.

CES 2009: Cooler Master

Unlike many companies Cooler Master actually had a lot to show us this year at CES. They were nice enough to invite us up to their Suite at the Palms to check out all of their new products. They showed us a lot of new cases, CPU coolers, and quite a few products from their Choiix line of laptop accessories. Let's take a look...

CES 2009: Intel's Imaging Software

One thing that Intel did show to us was their new imaging program that is currently in beta. One of the biggest problems people have is organizing their photos. Intel wants to solve that problem with this new program that makes a database of your photos so you can find them in an easy to use calendar. Not only will this system organize your photos, but it will also organize your videos as well. You will be able to edit your photos, makes changes, and more all in real time. The video has facial recognition as well. From what Intel tells us this software will be bundled with Intel motherboards, no word on if it will be available for sale as a standalone product.

CES 2009: CyberPower

CyberPower is one of the leading computer system manufacturers in the US, pumping out awesome gaming rigs and entry level systems. They use some of the best hardware available and really put together systems that anyone would enjoy. They were nice enough to invite us up to their suite to check out all of their new systems. Read on to see what CyberPower has in store for you in 2009.

CES 2009: ASUS

ASUS probably had the largest and busiest booth in the south hall of the Las Vegas convention center this year. They had quite a few things on display including motherboards, video cards, notebooks and more. Just like everyone else they also had a few all-in-one solutions on display. Let's take a look at what all the craziness was about at the ASUS booth.

CES 2009: Antec

Antec has been relatively quiet over the past year, just a few releases. This year at CES they invited us up to their suite to check out some of their new products and even to take a look at a prototype case that looks nothing like anything that is out right now! Let's see what Antec will be releasing this year!

CES 2009: Thermaltake

Thermaltake is one of the most widely known names when it comes to PC cases, it seems like everyone I talk to has heard of Thermaltake. This year they did not have that many announcements as in previous years, but they did have some interesting products. Let's take a look at their new cases, power supplies and cooling products.

CES 2009: MSI Notebooks

MSI had one of the most exciting booths this year at CES, probably because they were just showing off their notebooks. MSI is not a new comer to the notebook market, but are not as well knows as others, but after you see what they showed at CES they will definitely be on your radar. Let's take a look and see what they have in store for us.

CES 2009: The Booth Babes

With any trade show there are booth babes and CES is no exception especially in the car audio section! This year at CES we saw everything from mini laptops, all-in-one PC's, and crazy 3D LCD displays. Let's see if the models showing off the products this year can make you drool as much as the products! Without further ado I present the CES 2009 booth babe gallery!

Icy Dock MB881US-1S-1 Hard Drive Dock Review

If there is one thing we have seen a lot of in the past few months it has been hard drive docks, external devices that allow you to plug in a SATA hard drive connect it to your computer via USB or eSATA. We have reviewed 3 of them already and they all are pretty much the same design. Today we will be looking at one from Icy Dock that is quite unique and is actually very portable as well. Let's see if the MB881US-1S-1 is the best hard drive dock out of the mix.
