ASUS was showing a brand new keyboard at Computex which is part of their ROG gaming line. It is the ROG Claymore and it features Cherry MX RGB mechanical key switches. Corsair’s exclusive contract to carry Cherry MX RGB key switches in their motherboards is over and it looks like other companies are adopting them.
The keyboard was shown off in the TenKeyLess form factor, which has become extremely popular for gamers. There is a detachable macro keypad though, that can be attached to either side of the keyboard.
The keyboard features full N-key rollover and has passthrough ports for USB and audio, so you can connect all of your gaming devices to the keyboard and not your PC.
The keyboard is expected to have a worldwide release sometime in the third quarter of 2015.
