ASUS was nice enough to provide us with a nice run-down of the specifications of the Maximus VI Hero. (click for a larger image).

One thing that ASUS has worked very hard on is their Extreme Engine DIGI+ III digital power delivery design. It is explained below.
One thing that is important to gamers is sound and ASUS has used their SupremeFX chip on this board. This provides great audio quality so user’s do not have to go out and purchase a discrete sound card.
If you are going to put a sound chip directly on a motherboard you need to worry about interference. ASUS has got that covered!
