ASUS GeForce GTX 970 STRIX

Comparing this card to the GTX 780 and R9 290X Strix versions we do notice less heatpipes, but that is about it. The DirectCU II cooling features dual fans, which will only start working when the GPU temperature exceeds 65C. From there the fans will start to spin at 500 RPM until finding its sweet spot between temperature and generated noise.

While the clock speeds of the card have not been revealed we do know it will carry a factory overclock, has DIGI+ VRM and 4 GB of GDDR5 memory.

The card is expected to launch September 19th with a price between $400-$450.
