Testing – Artificial Benchmarks
I ran a series of popular benchmarks to check out the performance and stability of the X58 SuperComputer, both at stock clock and at my overclock. I also ran the same benchmarks on a Core 2 Duo rig, just to show how much of a performance boost the i7 has over the C2D.

I have run these same benchmarks on the other i7 motherboards I’ve reviewed. Some scores were significantly lower, some significantly higher, but overall, the results were about the same.
