ASRock X58 Extreme3 Intel X58 Motherboard Review

The BIOS
As all ASRock motherboards, the X58 Extreme3 utilizes the American Megatrends BIOS, a tabbed BIOS for easy navigation. The BIOS opens to the Main menu, which shows date/time, BIOS version information, CPU information, and memory found during POST.

The OC Tweaker menu is where all overclocking will take place. It seems to be complete, with all settings on either the menu or in a submenu. Overclocking the X58 is not like other motherboards like the P55, it isn’t difficult but there are more settings and is a little more involved.

The CPU Configuration submenu contains some CPU information and settings for SpeedStep, Halt State, C-State, and a few other settings.
