Gigabyte provides quite a lot of different companion applications for this motherboard. You will need to download the APP Center application first, then download and install each application separately. For us that meant downloading 18 different .ZIP files and installing each application, which is very annoying. For the life of me I do not understand why Gigabyte does not provide a single packaged download that has everything and then I can select which apps I want and the ones I don’t want.
There are quite a few different Gigabyte Apps, we are not going to go over all of them, but some of the main ones. First EasyTune is where you are going to do all of your overclocking within Windows, it also has Auto Tuning built in.
V-Tuner will allow you to overclock your graphics card. You can adjust the GPU clock, memory clock, power target, and temperature target.
Gigabyte has updated their Smart Fan software to Smart Fan 5, you can find it inside the System Information Viewer (SIV) application. You can set an overall mode on all fans to quiet, standard, performance, and full speed. If you go into the advanced settings however you can set fan curves for each fan header and you can even calibrate the fans.
Finally there is @BIOS which will easy allow you to update your BIOS within Windows if you are afraid of doing in using quick flash in the BIOS.
