AORUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Xtreme Edition 11G Graphics Card Review

Software & Lights
When you install the card and power on your system all you have to do to start gaming is install the latest NVIDIA driver, but if you want to change the modes of the card or adjust the RGB lighting you’ll need to download the AORUS software. When you open it up the main screen shows you your card and the different modes. By default the card will be in Gaming Mode, but you can select OC Mode, which is an even higher overclock, Silent Mode, which is a lower clock, and then User mode where you can custom tune the card yourself.

When you go to select the user mode you can setup different profiles and adjust the GPU BOOST clock, Memory Clock, GPU voltage, Fan Speed, Power Target, and Target temperature.

In the bottom corner of the screen you’ll see three little icons. The first is a fan, which will allow you to turn the fans on at all times, or set them in semi-passive mode, which will turn the fan off in idle situations. The next is a computer screen that when you click it will bring up real-time graphics of temperatures, clock speeds, and voltages.

Finally we have the LED icon, which brings up the lighting settings for the card. All three LED sections on the card are linked, so you can’t control them individually. You can select a static color or there are different effects you can enable.

I do have to say the card looks pretty awesome lit up on our test bench!
