Antec Unveils High Current Pro Platinum Grid Series PSUs

Corsair is one of the only brands to offer “smart” power supplies where you can monitor various things going on within the power supply during operation. This is about to change as Antec has unveiled their first “smart” power supplies. These new power supplies are called High Current Pro Platinum Grid and will be available in 750W, 850W, 1000W, 1200W and 1300W variants.

The power supply plugs into your motherboard via a USB header and interfaces with Antec’s Grid software. From there you can monitor and log things like overall efficiency, power domains, rails, temperatures, and fan speeds. You can also override the unit’s fan speed curve and monitor temperatures over 4 different sensors placed inside the unit.

These power supplies are 80PLUS Platinum certified and are pretty much identical to the High Current Platinum Pro series that was launched last year.

About 10 years of computer experience. Been messing around with electronics since I was 5, got into computers when I was in highschool, been modding them ever since then. Very interested in how things work and their design.
