Antec Releases the HCP-1300 Platinum PSU

Antec has just released their High Current Pro Platinum 1300W Power Supply. The HCP-1300 is 80PLUS Platinum certified, which means it will operate at up to 94% efficient. That can reduce electricity bills by up to 25%!

The HCP-1300 packs in four 12V rails that deliver a total of 1300W. One very unique feature of this power supply is that it supports OC Link, which allows for two of these PSUs to be connected in tandem. This use case is designed to benefit Bitcoin miners. A 135mm fan cools off the unit, and Antec claims to the fan to be very quiet. The fan produces a noise level of 43.4 dBA. The unit also features a revolutionary 20+8pin MBU socket for future needs.

Besides the MBU connector you also have 10 8pin PCI-Express connectors, 9 SATA connectors and 6 Molex connectors. All of the connectors are darkened to minimize visibility in a windowed case. The unit is 100% modular so you only use the cables that you need.
