Admin Dashboard Overview
If you are connected to the REC22P you can always access the admin dashboard by going to http://setup.ampedwireless.com. The main screen will show you your current status. It will also let you know if there is any issue with your connections. As you can see we had an issue with the 5 GHz connection.

You can change the settings for the 5.0 GHz and 2.4 GHz independently, the settings are pretty much the same though. You can change the SSID, Channel Width, Sideband, and channel number. You can also turn off the broadcast SSID, setup a guest network, and see a list of active clients.

The REC22P supports WEP, WPA, WPA2, and WPA-Mixed encryption. You can also setup WPS for easy connecting, the WPS button is on the bottom of the REC22P.

You have the ability to set users access control by denying wireless access via MAC address. You can also set wireless output power depending on the coverage area you want.

You can set an access schedule, which is great if you have kids and want to limit their internet access. The REC22P has BoostBand technology, which increases overall performance by streamlining dual band network traffic through a single WiFi frequency between the router and range extender.

You can set the LAN settings as well. For the wired Ethernet connection you can choose what band it uses to connect to the internet.

There are a lot of options under the Management tab, but the two most important are the Firmware upgrade, which you can automatically check for update and the password page where you should set a password for accessing the admin dashboard.
