AMD’s Radeon Pro 400 Series Graphics Specifications Detailed

AMD’s Radeon Pro 400 Series Graphics are what is powering Apple’s new 15-inch MacBook Pro. When the Radeon Pro 400 Series was announced the only thing we really knew was that it was based on the Polaris architecture and that was it. Well under AMD’s “Meet the Creators” program the company has now published the specifications.

Starting with the Radeon Pro 460 it has a total of 16 Compute Units, which totals 1024 stream processors, with a peak performance of up to 1.86 teraflops.

The middle card is the Radeon Pro 455 which has 12 Compute Units with 768 stream processors, with a peak performance of 1.3 teraflops.

Finally the bottom card is the Radeon Pro 450 and it only has 10 Compute Units with 640 stream processors and a peak performance of up to 1 teraflop.

All three parts leverage the same 80 Gb/s memory bandwidth.
