Tonga is said to have 32 Compute Units, which means 2048 stream cores. The Tonga will feature 2 GB of GDDR5 memory and a 256-bit interface.

It is currently unknown if that card will be named under the R9 280 or R9 270 series. Tonga could possibly be the first GPU manufactured by Global Foundries and is expected to more power efficient and less power hungry.
