AMD Releases Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.4.1

AMD has just released the latest version of their Radeon Software Crimson Edition. Version 16.4.1 will come with optimizations for “Quantum Break”, with up to 35 percent higher performance seen on a machine running the Radeon R9 Fury X, compared to the previous 16.3.2 version of the driver. The new drivers also provide software support for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive VR headsets. The driver does address a bug seen on “Hitman (2016)”, which in some cases would cause the screen to flicker when the quality was set on high in DirectX 11 mode. The driver also fixes a frame-rate capping issue in some DirectX 12 applications.
