AMD Releases FX-6350 and FX-4350 CPUs

When it comes to AMD all we have been talking about lately is the Radeon HD 7990 graphics card, but they have just launched two new Vishera CPUs. The units are the six-core FX-6350, which has a base clock of 3.9 GHz and the quad core FX-4350 which has a base clock of 4.2 GHz.

The FX-6350 has a turbo frequency of 4.2 GHz, 8MB of cache memory (L3) and a TDP of 125W. MSRP is set at $132. Compared to the previous FX-6300 chip the FX-6350 increased base and turbo frequencies by 400 MHz and 100 MHz respectively.

The FX-4350 has a turbo frequency of 4.3 GHz, 8MB of cache memory (L3) and a TDP of 125W. MSRP is set at $122. On the FX-4350 AMD increased the base and turbo frequencies by 400 MHz and 100 MHz respectively.
