Back at E3 AMD released both their FX-9590 and FX-9370 processors. Both of these processors can be clocked up to 4.5 GHz, but the FX-9590 can be clocked all the way up to 5 GHz! Both chips are also based on the 32nm Piledriver architecture. Of course with that high clock speed you are going to have a high price and up until recently the FX-9590 was around $899-999.
UK-based retailer AriaPC has slashed the prices of the FX-9590 and they are now selling it for only £299.99! They originally had it listed at £699.99. While we are unsure if this is an official price cut from AMD if you are looking to get your hands on the 5 GHz beast for a low price here is your chance! The sale page says they only have 7 chips in stock so get yours fast!
