AMD Announces the Wraith Prism CPU Cooler

AMD yesterday unveiled its latest Wraith Prism CPU Cooler. This new cooler will soon be available for purchase separately alongside some of the higher models of AMD’s Ryzen 2000-series “Pinnacle Ridge” processors. The Prism brings with it RGB lighting by the way of two RGB diffusers embedded into its shroud. Besides that it is basically just like the previous Wraith Max cooler.

The RGB lighting will be able to be controlled with AMD’s Ryzen Master software, but will also support lighting software from motherboard makers ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, and Biostar. Different fan profiles and OC modes will be available in the Ryzen Master software as well.

No official word on when the cooler will be available, but it could have a $5 premium over the Wraith Max, putting the price at $49.
