Overview
The AeroCool V12XT is the third Touch Screen LCD Fan Controller designed by AeroCool. We’ve reviewed the other two: AeroCool Touch 2000, AeroCool Touch 1000. AeroCool designed the dual 5.25” bay V12XT with a dashboard, giving it that sporty view. An ABS black bezel surrounds the LCD. The V12XT name can be found not only on the top of this plastic, but on the bottom of it as well, centered in the radiator design.
Two steel brackets on either side help secure the panel to the case. The back panel houses all of the connectors and cables, which are already pre-installed. The power cable is found in the upper left hand corner, the four fan controller cables are found in the lower left and the large temperature sensor connector, which holds all four temperature sensors, is in the upper right hand corner.
Each of the cables has a label; the fans are labeled FAN1-FAN4, the temperature sensors are labeled as CPU, VGA, HDD, and SYS. The temperature sensors have a plastic tube to protect them and keep them straight. The FAN1 connector is the only connector to support a 4-pin fan, FAN 2-4 support 3-pin fans.
