DashDrive Choice HC630 Overview
As I said in the introduction the HC630 is a pretty attractive drive. It has an all blue design with most of it being covered with a stylish reflective covering.
Inside of the enclosure is a 2.5-inch drive so the entire unit is not much larger than that. It has official dimensions of 115 x 78 x 15mm (4.5 x 3.0 x 0.6in). The build quality seems pretty good, although it is mostly made of plastic.
There is a single connection on the drive which is at the front. This is the USB 3.0 Micro B type connection that you see on many external drives. It will provide both data and power to the drive. There is a small activity LED above the connector.
The back of the drive is pretty much plain and just has a sticker with the serial number on it. The included USB cable is a USB 3.0 cable, but is not that long so if you want to use this drive with a desktop it better not be that large.
