Well it is not official, but the beloved Microsoft Paint is being killed off. Now to be fair the writing was already on the wall as Microsoft recently announced a UWP app called Paint 3D, which is meant to replace paint. That did not stop many people from still using Paint (we still use it for many of our screenshots!), but now Paint has been put on Microsoft's "deprecated" list (which means "not in active development and might be removed in future releases").
When you hear the name SilverStone you probably think of their Raven or Temjin series cases, I know that I do. While SilverStone does have this very nice high-end cases, they also offer many value series cases as not everyone has a few hundred dollars to shell out on a case. The motto of the Redline series is "Taking affordable enthusiast PCs to the limit" and the RL06 Pro seems to be the most feature-packed case in the series. This ATX case comes with four cooling fans (3 LED, 1 normal), a large side panel windows, stylish power supply cover, room for 5 hard drives, and support for long graphics cards. You get all of this for $74.99, is it worth it? Read on as we find out!

This week for Case Mod Friday we have a build from Timeplay done inside the Deepcool Tristellar case. This build is unlike any other we've seen in the Tristellar and is one of the more unique builds we've seen in a while! Be sure to check it out!
After developing the compact, very successful Alphacool HDX M.2 SSD cooler, Alphacool is now expanding its product range with the Eisblock HDX-2 and HDX-3 coolers. Both coolers come with a 4x PCIe card, on which the cooler and SSD are mounted. This has many advantages over mounting directly to the motherboard.
It appears that Intel's 4-core, 8-thread Core i7-7700K is still better at gaming than the new 6-core, 12-thread Core i7-7800X CPU. This really does not look that good for Intel at all. The guys over at TechSpot took both processors for a spin and the results show that the Core i7-7700K beats the Core i7-7800X in virtually all gaming tasks.
