Zotac GeForce GTX 560 Ti AMP! Edition 1GB Video Card Review

GeForce GTX 560 Ti AMP! Edition Overview
The AMP! Edition of the GeForce GTX 560 Ti looks much like Zotac’s reference version of the card.  They use the same shroud, although the fan on the AMP! Edition is black and the AMP! Edition is a little longer coming in at 9-inches to the reference versions 8.25-inches.  The shroud has a black and yellow design, which goes great since we are from Pittsburgh!

Towards the back of the card there is a Zotac logo and another one on the fan.  The yellow parts of the shroud have a honeycomb design, which should help the card “breathe”.  Zotac uses a 3 heatpipe cooler design that has a heatsink which covers most of the card.

Most of the card is covered by the shroud so we really cannot get a close look at the cooler.  The SLI connection is visible on the opposite side of the card.  You can combine any 2 GTX 560 Ti cards from any vendor for SLI operation.  On one side of the card you have a sticker that lets us know this is the GeForce GTX 560 Ti AMP! Edition card.

On the end of the card is where you will find the 2 6-pin PCI-E power connectors.  Zotac does include 2 PCI-E 6-pin to molex adapters if your power supply for some reason does not have PCI-E connectors.  Looking at the connections on the card you have 2 DVI connectoes and a single Mini-HDMI connector, Zotac does include a Mini-HDMI to HDMI adapter.  The HDMI interface is HDMI 1.3a so you can do both audio and video through this card.
