Final Thoughts
The Zalman ZM1000-HP Plus is a mighty fine PSU. Its 80PLUS Silver and SLI certification, plus the dual heatpipe cooling system and excellent connectivity.
I would have liked to see Japanese capacitors throughout the whole unit, though, and not just the first stage. The price is also still up there near the $250 mark, but it’s competitive with similarly spec’d models from competitors.
ThinkComputers gives the Zalman ZM1000-HP Plus a 9 out of 10 score. As I can find very few faults with it, there’s a pretty good chance I’ll be using it in my next build, so I’ll bestow upon it the Editor’s Choice Award, as well.

- Very quiet
- Modular
- Decent warranty
- 80PLUS Silver rated efficiency
