Testing – ATTO Disk Benchmark & CrystalDiskMark
Next up we have ATTO Disk Benchmark that measures transfer rates across specific lengths.
As you can see once again the write speeds dropped a little towards the end of the test.
CrystalDiskMark is our next test and it has a sequential read / write test as well as a 512k and 4k random read / write test.
Very impressive results here, the SiliconEdge Blue scored the best in both read and write scores compared to the other 3 drives.
I would like to see this drive in a 3.5″ casing in the future. I think only OCZ does this.
Yeah we actually have that drive up on the review block, so stay tuned!
I have owned 40+ hard drives over the years and only two of them crashed. Both were WD.
