Watch Dogs Official System Requirements Released

It seems like Watch Dogs is following in the same footsteps of the original Crysis as more details regarding the system requirements have been leaked. It was rumored that the leaked specs were not so heavy but now that the official specs have been out, we can know for sure what the entire deal is about.

Many will be disappointed as the original specs don’t vary much from the rumored ones and the Official Ubisoft specs revealed that they are actually craving for more resource attention as compared to the older ones. That’s right. This resource hungriness begins from the raise in the minimum requirement of the RAM to play Watchdogs; it has been raised from 4 GB to 8 GB. And as if this wasn’t enough, the processor requirement has also been transferred from Q6600 to the Q8400 and this seems like quite a huge leap. And one must completely forget about playing the game comfortably with a 32 Bit Version of Windows; you’d be lucky if you’re even able to boot it in the first place let alone play it.

This is news for the gaming enthusiasts who are more likely to respond to the efforts of these games moving towards the higher end and testing their full potentials but the average PC gamer will surely be disappointed. Hope still remains for these medium PC players as most of the times the system requirements are only there for a formality fulfillment and let’s just hope for the Far Cry 3 incidence to repeat itself with Watchdogs; the game had a requirement of 6 GB but smoothly ran on 3 GB RAM. Well, the game is supposed to be out this year on the 22nd of November and nothing can be deduced till then.
