Vizio VX20L 20-inch Widescreen LCD HDTV Review

VX20L Overview
The VX20L has your typical Vizio look too it, if you’ve seen a Vizio HDTV before you know what I’m talking about. This is only a 20-inch display so it is nothing that is extremely large. Those 20-inches will give you a max resolution of 1366 x 768 (720p). The speakers are along the bottom of the screen and right above them you will see the Vizio logo.

Looking at the side of the display it is not all that thick either at only 3.5-inches deep (without stand). That means you will easily be able to wall mount this display if you want to. Along the right side are all of the controls, these control include power, menu, channel up, channel down, volume up, volume down and input. You have a headphone jack there as well.

Moving around back you can see Vizio goes with a grey back on this display. You can see the 4 VESA wall mount points on the back. Taking a look at the stand you can see there is a cable management system. The stand allows you to pivot the display up and down but does not allow for vertical adjustment.

As far as inputs this small display does have quite a few, you have cable in, component, RCA, S-Video, VGA, audio, HDMI and stereo RCA. You also have an optical out and a USB port labeled service. The power connector is also on the back.

The remote that comes with the display is pretty simple, not that complex like some remotes. The volume and channel buttons are quite big which makes channel surfing easy. After using the remote for less than a day I easy became accustomed to it.
