The VLED221wm is a 22-inch display so it has a native resolution of 1680 x 1050. This resolution is becoming standard to most people as 20-22-inch displays are making their way into more consumers homes. The 1680 x 1050 resolution is great for any type of work whether it be Photoshop work or just regular web browsing. You can have many windows open at once, which is nice.
One of the first things I noticed when I turned on the VLED221wm was how vibrant the colors were. This is because the VLED221wm can represent 118% of the NTSC color gamut, whereas most LCD’s represent 72 or more recently 92% of the color gamut. It is really nice working on an LCD where colors are so vibrant. The pictures really do not do this display justice at all, but they can give you an idea of the color reproduction.
The on screen menu is brought up by pressing the “1” button on the display, it has your typical options you would expect on any LCD. To move into the sub menus you press the “2” button.
The only real options you would want to change would be the Brightness / Contrast and the color temp.
