Unlimited Hard Drive Space via the Cloud for Xbox One

Microsoft has always had a rising battle with the Xbox One. We personally feel that these rivals have made it difficult all by themselves by trying to completely up-end and change the way users consume games, media and entertainment in an enormous way. We do know that Microsoft has made a mess of things when we talk about its press release but at the same time they’ve also done a lot of good to repair the damage and judging by news of pre-order sales. We must say here that their effort hasn’t gone overlooked.

Microsoft exposed this week that they’ve updated their self-issued guidelines for independent developers for their latest console which is supported by the fact that any Xbox One could be used as a development kit. Not only this, now the new developers can get out and get the hardware they need at quite a decent price.

To summit it off, Microsoft have also been advertising the “cloud” while they claim it can give the console much better computing power, and definitely a better storage as well. Xbox one can now make use of the limitless sized hard drive space online, our gratitude to Microsoft for permitting users to tap huge amount of servers they’ve setup for the console and Office 365.

This makes us realize that it is definitely a big jump over the Xbox 360 which only has 512mb of cloud storage and possesses unlimited online storage, even if you hardly use it, it could come in handy. Microsoft claims that this will be available to all members of Xbox Live and not only limited to Xbox Gold members.
