Tt eSPORTS Poseidon Z Illuminated Gaming Keyboard Review

Final Thoughts
It is great to see companies like Tt eSPORTS go out and source different mechanical switches than the same Cherry MX switches that everyone else is using. Not only does this give us the consumer more of a choice, but it brings down the cost of the keyboard as well.

I actually prefer these blue switches over the Cherry MX brown switches. I did a direct comparison with Tt eSPORTS own Poseidon keyboard with Cherry MX brown switches. The blue switches had a much more audible key press and had better tactile feedback. This of course makes using the keyboard more comfortable, especially when gaming.

This is a sort of no frills keyboard though. There is no wrist rest, no extra macro keys, no on-board memory, no USB ports, no gold-plated USB connector and no extra software. While some of those things are nice are they altogether necessary? No really unless that is something you are specifically looking for. Again losing some of these things keeps the price of this keyboard down.

At the end of the day if you are looking for an affordable keyboard with some great mechanical switches the Tt eSPORTS Poseidon Z is a great choice. You can find the keyboard at my favorite online retailer for around $80. Also you have to remember that Tt eSPORTS is backing this keyboard with a 5 year warranty, which is very impressive. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Tt eSPORTS Poseidon Z Illuminated Gaming Keyboard a 9 out of 10 score.
