Tt eSPORTS, Thermaltake’s gaming division which specializes in mice, keyboards and headsets specifically promoted for gaming has opened its first retail store in downtown Taipei on a joint venture basis with Super A Electronic, the operator of the Studio A retail chain of Apple products in Taiwan, and Taiwan Tea Corporation (TTC), according to Thermaltake.
The Tt eSports retail store is on the first floor of an IT and consumer electronics mall opposite the Taipei Railway Station, with students being its target customers, Thermaltake pointed out.
The store will be starting out with gaming peripherals, but it seems like Tt eSPORTS could expand into pre-build gaming PC’s that use Thermaltake’s cases, power supplies, cooling and more. There is a possibility that we will see a new product line come following the release of Windows 8 in October. The joint venture between Thermaltake, Studio A, and TTC plans to start as many as 30 Tt eSports retail stores in Taiwan, over the next two years, according to Thermaltake.
