It looks like this keyboard has got me on the mechanical keyboard bandwagon. Going from laptop-style keyboard to a mechanical gaming keyboard took some time to get used to, but I do enjoy using this keyboard. The actual feel when typing a feedback of the keyboard is great. I feel as if I know when I am pressing a key it is actually going to be registered.
While there are no programmable keys like we have seen on many other gaming keyboards, I feel they are really unnecessary, especially for most FPS gamers. If you are playing a MMORPG, I would expect you to be using a keyboard or most that is especially made for that type of game. TT eSPORT does give you some multimedia keys, which is a plus.
The backlighting is the new thing on this model and TT eSPORTS has done a great job on it. All of the keys are backlit in red and your are able to select between 7 different brightness modes. You can also set the backlit keys to pulsate, which looks pretty cool. You can turn the backlighting completely off or have just the WASD or arrow keys illuminated, which some gamers might enjoy. Other features of this keyboard include the two port USB hub and audio connections. That way you can connect all of your peripherals to the keyboard without having to go behind your tower and plug them in.
All in all I think this is a really solid keyboard and one that any gamer would enjoy. Right now you can pick up this keyboard for $139.99 at my favorite online retailer. Overall ThinkComputers gives the TT eSPORTS Meka G1 Illuminated Gaming Keyboard a 9 out of 10 score.
