With my ISUZU Vehicross I read in a review something interesting. It came after I made the purchase so it had no factor on whether I made the purchase or not but it was something to think about. The reviewer made the claim that the Vehicross was a vehicle to been “seen in” but not to drive. At the time it didn’t make much sense but after driving the SUV for a year I started to understand.
I don’t fault Tt eSPORTS for all of the short comings of this mouse. Let’s make this abundantly clear: This mouse was not designed by them. A company that specializes in research and development put together the schematics that allowed what Tt eSPORTS to manufacture what they assumed was an amazing mouse. The original Level 10 Case that was designed by DesignworksUSA and was a work of art. Functionally and aesthetically it was a marvel. But, here’s the thing with a case, it doesn’t move. You’re hands aren’t in constant contact with it. You set your components on the inside and don’t touch it again unless you’re adding/subtracting something or something breaks.
A mouse is a completely different story. Priority #1 should always be comfort. Why do you see so many Office-type mice selling everywhere? Part of it is price but the main reason is comfort. Hell, people don’t use oversized track ball mice because they looked cool. They used them because you could keep your hand on it all day and not think about how your wrist or fingers were going to feel at the end of each day.
Technically, the Level 10M Gaming Mouse is sound. It’s extremely precise and the buttons never seem to miss a beat. The customization that comes with the LED’s is something that pleasurable to the eyes and a nice addition. Also, the way that Tt eSPORTS built the mouse in regards to the materials used is a way to make the claim that this mouse is going to last the entirety of the duration of time you hope to use it for.
I don’t think Tt eSPORTS was off base in the slightest to make the logo of the Level 10 M Gaming Mouse “Born to be seen”. You’re either going to love the attention the mouse brings, or hate the lack of comfort. One will always out weight the other and in that light make you feel if you made a solid purchase or not. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Tt eSPORTS Level 10M Gaming Mouse an 8 out of 10 score.
