Transcend has recently announced 128GB 600x and 64GB 300x SDXC UHS-1 cards and is capable of offering transfer speeds of up to 90MB/s and 45MB/s respectively. These memory cards offer not only the storage capacity, but also the operational speed needed to save, store and transfer huge numbers of high-resolution photos and HD videos without any difficulty.
While talking about the storage space, let us tell you here that the 128GB SDXC UHS-I card can accommodate up to 20,000 high resolution jpeg images (12 megapixels, 6MB in file size), 8,500 RAW images (14MB in file size), and over 32 hours of full high definition (HD)1080p video recordings. With the support of the exFAT file system, the memory cards are capable of withstanding files that are larger than 4GB, perfect of burst mode shooting and lengthy video recordings.
Coming down to file transfer speeds, the 128GB 600x and 64GB 300x cards can actually meet transfer speeds of up to 90MB/s and 45MB/s respectively. In the presence of USB 3.0 card reader, files as large one gigabyte can be transferred in just 12 seconds.
