The housing of the Toughpower XT is gunmetal gray, and is covered with stickers show its output table on the top, product logo on the side, and modular configuration on the front. The outward-facing side of the unit has three LEDs which show standby mode, power quality, and temperature.

The top has the output table, showing that the unit is capable of delivering up to 64A on the 12V rail.

The front has 8 modular cable ports: four for devices and four for PCI-Express. In total, the 775W has two 6+2-pin PCI-Express connectors, two 6-pin PCI-Express connectors, six 4-pin device connectors, eight SATA connectors, and one floppy connector in addition to the standard 20+4-pin motherboard connector and 4+4-pin CPU connector. All of the cables are mesh sleeved for improved airflow and cable management.

The rear of the unit has hexagonal, honeycomb grating for improved exhaust airflow. There’s a power switch and a standard power cable connector, as well.

The bottom of the unit has thicker-than-usual grilling covering its 140 mm fan.
