Conclusion

There are certainly a lot of side benefits to the Thermaltake Toughpower XT 750W Power Supply such as the FanDelayCool and S.P.T. Indicator. It has also received the 80PLUS bronze award, is AMD Game Ready and is ATI CrossfireX ready. I was really pleased with the installation and the extreme quietness of the power supply over my previous 1000W power supply.

The only downside I can see to this power supply is the undervolted readings on the 12V rail. With a retail price of $229.99 at Thermaltake it makes me wonder if those extra benefits are really worth the price. Doing a quick search online shows I can find the price around $50 cheaper which makes it a little more reasonable to buy. Overall Think Computers would like to award the Thermaltake Toughpower XT 750W Modular Power Supply a 9 out of 10 score.

Pros:

- 80PLUS Bronze certification
- S.P.T. Indicator & FanDelayCool
- Modular
- Quiet

Cons:

- Undervolted 12V rail
