To test the power supply we ran OCCT’s PSU test for a 30 minute interval, running at fullscreen (1920×1200). Here are the results:
Left (730W) – Right (430W)
The 730W had a larger ripple of 0.05V (1.46%); while the 430W only had a 0.03V (0.98%) ripple.
The 730W had a smaller ripple of 0.02V (0.48%), while the 430W had the larger ripple of 0.07V (1.45%)
The 12V rail was a lot more unstable than the other two on both PSUs with the 730W having a 0.33V (2.60%) ripple and the 430W having a 0.50V (3.88%) ripple.
