Conclusion
The Thermaltake Silent 1156 was designed to be a completely silent, better than stock cooling and easy for beginners to install. Installing the Thermaltake Silent 1156 CPU cooler was an easy task due to the push pin design, which would make it very easy for people who are just beginning with building computers. Thermaltake did a very good job when building this entry level CPU cooler, while still having everyone in mind.
The CPU cooler can be used for a HTPC (Home Theater PC) which would offer whisper quiet and yet very optimal CPU cooling. While testing the Thermaltake Silent 1156 I was very pleased with the temperatures it was putting out for a entry level CPU Cooler. It proved to be far better than using a stock CPU cooler.
With the Thermaltake Silent 1156 being avaible at most E-Retailers it is pretty easy to get a hold of from anywhere around $30-40 in the US, which is a pretty good price for getting a silent and decent CPU cooler for your rig.
The only thing that really holds this CPU cooler back is that it is made for 1156 CPU sockets only so it is not a universal CPU cooler that can be used on all systems.
Overall ThinkComputers gives the Thermaltake Silent 1156 CPU Cooler an 8 out of 10 score.

Pros:
- Great for HTPCs
- Super Quiet
- Not huge
- Efficient cooling
Cons:
- Only 1156
- Push in clip design
